DRC provides a professional and confidential counselling service to disabled people and those with long term health conditions over the age of 18 living in Birmingham and Solihull, who are experiencing depression and anxiety.
The service is operated by qualified counsellors who, in turn, are clinically supervised through external arrangements. Our counsellors are experienced in working with disabled people and those with long term health conditions. They are registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy in line with the requirements set by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
Time-limited sessions are provided at both our Head Office at Five Ways, Birmingham and at our accessible Information, Health and Wellbeing Centre in Kitts Green, Birmingham. We are unable to provide a home visiting service.

There is sliding scale of fees and charges in place for counselling sessions. Further details are available upon request. Access to the service is generally free of charge for self-referrals. However, if you are unable to attend a pre-arranged appointment and fail to cancel giving 24 hours’ notice, a £5.00 fee may be applied.
