Hours: Part Time ( 15 Hours)

Salary: NJC SCP 25 – 28, £23,111 – £25,463 pro rata per annum (£15.81 - £17.04/ Hour)

DRC has been successful in acquiring funding from the Energy Saving Trust to support vulnerable cutomers with energy issues such as fuel poverty and referring them to indepth support.

The Energy Redress Trainer post is a unique role and will deliver the training and education component of the Warm, Safe and Sound Programme. The aim is to build skills and know- how to support independent living and develop resilience to face adverse situations arising from the use of energy. This will include a range of activities and supports to safeguard and protect vulnerable adults from harm. The post is an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking organisation to deliver a project to disabled people and those with long term health conditions across Birmingham, Solihull, the Black Country and South Staffordshire.

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven candidate with a proven track record in the successful delivery of training; experience of curriculum and learning material development, including on-line learning; knowledge and experience of fuel poverty advice and guidance; and a commitment to consumer rights and working with people with a disability and long term health conditions. However, the successful candidate will be trained to ensure they have the required capabilities to deliver the programme’s objectives.  

 

Candidates must hold a teaching or training qualification such as the Level 3: Award in Education & Training and ideally a qualification in advice and guidance.
