Help! For Disabled People project supports 884 people in 12 months

DRC's new project Help! For Disabled People has supported 884 disabled people in Birmingham and Solihull during the first 12 months of the project. The Help! project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund for three years and aims to support people with information, advice, social activities and training workshops.

The project sets out not just to give people a helping hand in times of hardship, worry or crisis, but also to bring people together with peers and to participate in training workshops which will help to empower them with confidence and knowledge in the future.
